Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and grew up in the city. She studied at Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and in the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone started acting when she was young, and was featured in the films Me Myself I and the miniseries The Farm. The main area of her work was theater. Stone was awarded Best Newcomer at the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and the title of Best Supporting actress in The Kid. Her television work included supporting characters in All Saints, Spirited and others. She appeared from 2010 until 2011. in The Diary of a Madman. For this role, she received a nomination for The Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting Actress. In February of 2011 she flew in New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman and then returned to the principal roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
