Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 under very poor conditions. Her mother, who was a failing teacher and actor, was a salesperson for cars while her dad was an auto salesman. Jennifer, second in a four-child family she was frequently at her mother's performance in the theater and was awestruck. Jennifer's parents separated at the age of five. Jennifer lived in British Columbia for most of her early years when her mother and other four children moved there. Jennifer was never the studious sort, despite the fact that she was a talented artist as a child. Because of her experience in the public schools of Canada, Jennifer came under the sway of many bullying incidents. As her interest in theatre diminished as she entered high school, she began playing in theatre with her mother. Her mom inspired her to inspire all the youngsters in her household to develop a passion for and interest for performing arts. She immediately took action.
