Kyra Minturn Sedgwick, a renowned American TV and large-screen actor. Her name is well-known all over the globe, but particularly in America because of her leading role in 'The Cloner. Sedgwick is interested in the arts, acting and Broadway ever since she was at the age of 12. Her mother was very interested in Broadway and introduced it to her. Sedgwick got her first stage performance at age 16 as she was a part of "Another World," a TV show. The actress went on to perform minor roles on show, but it was her dream of becoming a big actor that enticed her. Her debut big screen performance was in the film "Born on the Fourth of July,' in which she was co-starring with Tom Cruise. In the aftermath of the success of that movie, Sedgwick got more roles in films like "Singles," "Heart and Souls', 'Phenomenon', among others. Sedgwick met Kevin Bacon in a TV show known as Lemon Sky. She married him at the age of 22. Sedgwick was a star on American TV with her impeccable performing. The Closer, which was a seven-season series, earned numerous awards, including the Golden Globe and Emmy.
